Children’s Ministries
We believe that kids are important to God. As a result, our Children’s Ministry Director (with the help of many volunteers) leads a number of great ministries for kids beginning with our Sunday morning nursery along with Sunday School, AWANA and summer VBS.
Church Family Night
We have designed a night that the whole family can enjoy! Each Wednesday night beginning in September and ending the first Wednesday in May, the entire church family is invited to share in a time of growth in Christ. We begin the evening at 5:45 pm with a delicious meal. At 6:30 pm we have AWANA for children; youth ministry for those in grades 7-12; and various studies for adults. Please come and experience God’s transformation. (September – May)
College and Career
College and Career ministries provide opportunities for young adults in college and/or the work force to enter into the Christian faith and grow in service to Christ. Join us on Sunday evenings at 6 pm at Central Congregational Church. For details contact Chris Anderson.
Helps Ministry
As needs arise within our congregation it is our desire to minister to one another. Learn more.
Prayer Services
A time of prayer and worship is held the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month at 6:00 pm. All are welcome.
Prayer Team
All are welcome to join the Prayer Team at any time. Please contact the church office to have your name placed on the email list to receive prayer requests.
Senior Ministry
Seniors in our church family have lots of opportunities for fun, fellowship, spiritual growth and ways to serve others. We welcome anyone who thinks they are a senior to jump right in and get involved by participating in activities and using their gifts and skills to bless others. You might find us enjoying a Corn Hole competition or making crafts; singing old-time hymns and songs; heading off on a day trip or sharing a delicious meal. We also hold an annual Packing Party to assemble Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes with gifts for disadvantaged children around the world. Daytime Bible studies are available for those who don’t drive at night. There are lots more things planned for seniors in the year ahead. We’d love to have you join us.
Sunday Morning Worship
We have two worship services to choose from on Sunday mornings at 9 & 11 AM.
Sunday School
Sunday School for all ages begins each Sunday at 10:20 AM (September 24 through June 30).
Vacation Bible School (VBS) June 23-27, 2025
Early in the summer each year we offer a week of VBS for youth ages 3 (potty trained) through 6th grade. Children have a fantastic time Monday – Friday for a half-day of fun activities, crafts, games, and tasty snacks. Most importantly, children learn about God’s great love for them through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and how to have a meaningful relationship with Him. Watch for details and registration in May and June for this free event. All children in the community are welcome.
Women’s Ministry
Our Women’s Ministry seeks to glorify Christ by coming alongside each other for fellowship, encouragement, support, and Biblical nurture. The monthly events include food, games, crafts, prayer and a small group study of God’s Word. We would love for you to join us!
Young Adult Fellowship
For individuals in their mid-20’s and 30’s, this ministry helps men and women discover Jesus together. Please contact the church office for details.
Youth Group
Our Youth Director, Evan Pittsley, is passionate about finding innovative and creative ways to challenge our students grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Our youth ministry is for grades 7-12 and meets Wednesday Nights 6:30-8:00 (September through July). Throughout the Summer Youth Group meets on a bi-weekly basis.
