Chris Anderson

DIRECTOR OF COLLEGE AND CAREER MINISTRIES

Chris and his wife Jenny have been married since 2007 and have been blessed with six children to date.  Chris loves spending time with his family, physical fitness of all kinds (except running) and watching New England sports. Prior to coming to Central, Chris served in youth ministry for eleven years while working on his degree in Biblical and Theological studies from Liberty University, which he completed in 2018.

Chris has a passion for theology, missions and service. He is excited to engage with those of any age in conversations about Christ and the things of God.  He has led multiple short-term mission trips to Mississippi, Camden and Uganda.  He sees serving locally and in short term trips as an excellent opportunity to build relationships and to duck and point to the glory of God as the reason for all Christian service.

At Central, Chris serves as the director of College and Career ministries where he and his wife seek to foster a culture of connecting with young adults in college and the work force in order to provide opportunities to enter into the Christian faith and grow in service to Christ.  Chris grew up in a Christian home before wandering from the church in his twenties.  Graciously, the Lord called Chris to Himself in his late twenties, so he understands the pull of the world and also its inability to satisfy a heart designed for fellowship with God.
