About Our Helps Ministry

WELCOME TO OUR HELPS MINISTRY

“Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?”  And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.  This is the great and first commandment.  And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” —Matthew 22:36-40 (ESV)

Here at Central Congregational Church we fervently embrace God’s mandate to love and care for one another. We hope to use this website as a vehicle to express God’s love in practical ways, particularly in these troubled times. We’ll do this by connecting people with needs in our congregation to individuals who are able to help.

Whether your request for help is related to COVID-19 or something else altogether (items of clothing for your children, appliances, furniture, food, a place to live, home visitation when safely possible, and more), you are invited to share your request. It is our desire to connect those in need with those who can be of help.

If you or a loved one finds yourself in need and want to post a confidential inquiry for help on this page, please contact Shari, our Church Administrator at (508) 947-1256, email her at centralcongregationalchurch@gmail.com, or click on REQUEST ASSISTANCE below and fill out the online form. She will post your request on the website and/or connect you with someone who may be able to help.

If you would like to be part of the Helps Ministry at Central Congregational Church by assisting someone with a request, we would love to hear from you. As you see needs that you are able to meet posted, please contact the church office or click on VOLUNTEER TO HELP below to fill out an online form and we will connect you with the individual(s) requiring assistance.
