Kathryn Pittsley

DIRECTOR OF CHILDREN’S MINISTRIES

Having a passion for teaching and learning, Kathryn Pittsley earned a bachelor’s degree in English and Secondary Education from Stonehill College in the spring of 2012.  At Stonehill, Kathryn participated in a variety of teaching experiences in both public and private schools as well as in community centers.  During college, Kathryn served as a Sunday School teacher and assistant coordinator at Christ Community Church.

At Central Congregational Church, Kathryn serves as the Director of Children’s Ministries, which encompasses children’s Sunday School, Children’s Church, AWANA, and Vacation Bible School programs. Kathryn also teaches at Mullein Hill Christian Academy in Lakeville. Kathryn has served in leadership for three short-term mission trips to South America and is looking forward to seeing where God will call her and her family next!

In ministry, Kathryn seeks to help children and teens grow closer in their relationship with Christ through relationships and biblical teaching. Kathryn’s approach to children’s ministry is based on the notion that each child that she encounters could be the child God uses to change the world.

Kathryn is thankful to be able to serve at Central Congregational Church alongside her husband, Evan. Kathryn and Evan are excited to raise their two children at Central Congregational Church. Kathryn and Evan were both raised and reside in Middleboro.
